The project was born from the unique experience of its creator – Dimi – who worked for years at an innovative tech company. His professional journey included creating educational materials, developing mobile apps for cloud platforms in the IoT sphere, and localizing products for the global market.

“In today’s world, people are rapidly making life easier through technology, but often forget about their natural human skills – like building meaningful social connections. Cold, soulless social networks have almost replaced evening tea chats with friends and board games. Our ability to communicate in person is fading, and with it, we lose ourselves. Still, we shouldn't go back to the Stone Age — our civilization must move forward together with technology,” — Dimi shares.

“While working as a translator, I was inspired by cute digital characters created by Japanese users. That’s when the idea came to me: what if there were an electronic assistant that could recognize people nearby with shared interests, personality traits, and other parameters — increasing your chances of finding your best friend or even love? I decided to call this device Match! and make it as a badge for clothes or bags,” — Dimi recalls.

The principle is simple: the user purchases a device, activates it via a webpage, and then visits their favorite public places like cafés. If the device detects a compatible person nearby, both Match! devices will play a signature melody and display the type of potential connection — Friend or Partner. A special Couple function helps avoid collisions — each matched pair gets a unique galaxy-colored indicator.
